What are the different cup sizes and capacities?

We currently offer three different cup sizes:

  • Size Mini: Recommended for teens or those who need a smaller size.
  • Size A: Recommended for those who have not given birth vaginally or who have given birth by C-section.
  • Size B: Recommended for those who have given birth vaginally.

Their capacities are as follows:

  • Size Mini: Full capacity 19 ml; 1st line 5 ml; 2nd line 8 ml
  • Size A: Full capacity 27 ml; 1st line 10 ml; 2nd line 15 ml
  • Size B: Full capacity 33 ml; 1st line 10 ml; 2nd line 15 ml

The cup should be emptied every 8–12 hours. When you first start using it, we recommend emptying it more frequently as you get to know your cup and flow. The cup works very well for those with a heavy period, or menorrhagia, as it can hold up to 3 times the flow of a super tampon.

The difference between sizes A and B is small, but using the correct size is important to prevent leakage. While vaginal birth is the most common deciding factor, other factors, such as cervix height and activity level, can also influence which size you need. Everybody is unique, and sizing needs may vary.
