Can I use the cup during sex, sports, or everyday activities?

Can I still pee with the cup?

Yes. You can use the restroom as usual. Because the disc is worn internally and the urethra (where urine is released) is a separate opening, the disc does not need to be removed. Unlike tampons, which have strings that can absorb fluids, the cup will not interfere with your bathroom routine.

Can I play sports with the cup?

Yes. The cup is ideal for active lifestyles. It can hold up to three times as much as a tampon, and its flexible material makes it comfortable once properly positioned. You can swim, run, do yoga, or enjoy other activities, all while getting 8–12 hours of protection during your period.

It's also very unlikely that the blood collected in the cup will flow back into your uterus, even if you're upside down. You may have noticed the relatively thick consistency of the flow, so it doesn't slosh around inside you; it simply stays in the cup. So you can lie down or do a handstand without a worry.

Can I have sex with the cup?

No. The cup should be removed before penetrative sex, as it blocks the vaginal canal. Check out our disc, for a mess-free sex option. Note: The cup and disc are NOT a method of contraception and does not protect against STIs.
